Hey there! I'm sorta working on the same song and idea, so I just wanted to tell you that I won't watch yours until after I've made mine, so as not to be influenced in any way!

I'm sure yours is awesome considering your other work. :)

I had started out using the original, but switched to the Shrek one because it's more dramatic and contemporary. I prefer how it's slow in the beginning and then builds up - much more suited for what I had in mind.

I'm glad you're not put off that I am making a very similar one. When I saw your post, I didn't know what to do! Then I figured, what the hell - the more, the merrier, right?

Very, very nicely done. It makes the show seem like it's actually about a real, honest to goodness coming of age story about the future Superman and his pals. It makes the show seem more dynamic somehow. Great job.

Very awesome job on this vid! I really liked it a lot. You used the various heroes from the show very well in the vid. I particularly liked your scene selection. The scenes you chose, and the way you edited them, were very effective in making the vid look dramatic. Very awesome job on the entire vid!

Awesome job with the opening during the lyrical/piano part. It worked really well the way you did it with the scenes from Insurgence. Also it was clever how you followed that up with the camera shot down the building to clark at 16. Great lyric matching on that and on the “fiery steed” line with the scene from the green arrow episode. Awesome stuff on the changeover part of the song/vid at 45. The scene from the Bizzaro episode was a great choice for that transition as it looked very heroic. I also really liked how you used the first verse to introduce all the superhero characters. Very impressive job with your scene selection and editing there. I especially liked how you transitioned between the Flash and Aquaman scenes at 59-100. And how you timed up the Martian Manhunter flying scene with the music at 122-127.

Cool lyric match on the "Its gonna take a superman to sweep me off my feet" line at 1:50 and great scene choice there with the scene from vessel. 213-226 with the Kara stuff was another part that was really well matched to the music. Especially with the way you utilized the camera movements to get it to flow so smoothly with the music. That made it look very dramatic. 240-306 musical break part was another place where you had very cool scene selection and editing, very dramatic scenes to match the music. It was also cool to see chloe in there. Awesome job with the ending with the scene from Justice. That made for an impressive looking ending! Very awesome vid Monica!
